We enjoyed Beach Tavern for their chunky Maine Lobster with crunch celery on a toasted brioche bun (with a side of fries), paired with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc and pretty views of the Shrewesbury River. Friendly service and the beachy chic decor added to the experience. In the summer, they open up the back patio for alfresco dining, as well as their dock and dine area.

Love this place! Off the beaten path in Monmouth Beach/Oceanport. Great views, vibes and food. Great place for a nice family meal or night out with friends. Both inside and outside experiences are great… drinks are flowing and the employees are on it. A regular spot for us!

Been here before, always very good as was this last visit. I was taken back by the small portion when my entree arrived. Another bacon scallop and a bit more risotto would have been nice!

This restaurant just keeps getting better and better! For those who know me that’s a powerful! I was there yesterday and had some of the best food on the Jersey Shore. The grilled Tuna sandwich is world class, even surpassing Anjelica’s. I also had a Broccoli sashimi in a teriyaki sauce that had flavors you dream of. The most interesting part of the meal was our waiter Thomas.perfect service from a very pleasant and professional young man. We started chatting and he was telling me how he and a friend developed the most intuitive app I’ve ever seen, which really and truly impressed me. It’s called “Zibt”. It’s a personal assistant that improves one’s efficiency tremendously! Beach Tavern has everything! Palm trees, nice music, delicious food and great people! I very highly recommend Beach Tavern! This is the restaurant you’ll be raving about to all your friends.
